Job Description

Job Title: Senior Program Manager – Technology Delivery & Client Engagement (Hyderabad)

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager based in Hyderabad who can support local client interactions, drive delivery excellence, and represent leadership in day-to-day engagements. This role balances program management, foundational technical understanding, and strong communication skills to ensure smooth delivery across multiple workstreams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable engaging directly with senior client partners. While not a hands-on technical role, it requires a solid grasp of modern engineering practices, cloud fundamentals, and structured delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the local point of contact for client stakeholders in Hyderabad, representing leadership in meetings, reviews, and escalations.

Build strong working relationships with business teams, product owners, and technology partners.

Understand client priorities and ensure delivery teams stay aligned with expectations.

Proactively address gaps, risks, or blockers before they become issues.

Program & Delivery Management

Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple application development initiatives.

Maintain clear project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Drive governance through structured reporting, dashboards, and communication routines.

Ensure delivery teams meet milestones, quality gates, and release commitments.

Technical Oversight (Foundational)

Provide guidance on SDLC processes, architecture considerations, and environment readiness.

Ensure teams follow standards for API development, cloud deployments, and security controls.

Coordinate with engineering leads to support CI/CD processes, testing readiness, and release management.

Bring enough technical grounding to challenge decisions and ensure alignment—not to write code.

Compliance & Quality Awareness

Support compliance requirements in regulated environments (GxP/FDA/EMA) where applicable.

Ensure documentation, change control, and audit preparedness are properly followed.

Work with QA and engineering teams on test strategies, performance checks, and UAT cycles.

Team Coordination & Leadership

Partner with onshore/offshore engineering and project teams to drive aligned delivery.

Support onboarding, team engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.

Encourage accountability, clear communication, and a positive delivery culture.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

Work with vendor and partner teams for delivery alignment, SLA adherence, and issue resolution.

Support contract reviews and vendor performance analysis.

Account Growth & Continuous Improvement

Identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and areas for streamlining delivery.

Provide leadership with insights on team performance, client expectations, and program health.

Support proposal inputs, estimations, and roadmap planning when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12 years of total experience, with strong experience in program or project management within technology environments.

Good understanding of application development fundamentals, cloud-native concepts, and DevOps practices.

Strong client-facing experience with the ability to handle conversations, escalations, and planning discussions.

Skilled in communication, stakeholder management, and structured delivery practices (Agile/SAFe preferred).

Experience working in regulated industries (Life Sciences ideal, not mandatory).

Ability to coordinate distributed teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Preferred Skills

Awareness of modern architecture patterns and secure SDLC practices.

Exposure to compliance frameworks (GxP, ISO, SOC).

Understanding of AI/ML or modern digital platforms.

Experience managing vendors or multi-partner engagement.

Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet

CI/CD visibility (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Cloud familiarity: AWS, Azure, GCP

Observability basics: Grafana, ELK, Prometheus
