Job Description

What’s the Role:

You’ll join the Global Transaction Services team as an Application Development & Support Analyst, providing L3 support for critical enterprise payments platforms. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, stability and performance of high‑availability systems that support core business operations, while building strong expertise in payments processes within a large corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3 application support, ensuring availability, reliability and performance meet agreed SLAs
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and major incident support
  • Restore services during disruptions and participate in post‑incident reviews and continuous improvement
  • Deploy code fixes, support release and change activities, and manage escalations from Level 2 support
  • Perform application analysis, tuning, and capacity management to optimise performance and reduce cost
  • Maintain operational documentation and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning

What do I need?

  • Provide L3 SME application support, with proven experience across L2/L3 roles in enterprise environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across complex, business‑critical systems
  • Experience supporting applications on Linux/Unix and Windows platforms
  • Hands‑on experience deploying applications and managing supporting infrastructure
  • Proficiency in SQL and PowerShell for investigation, scripting and automation
  • Knowledge of SSL certificates, Web Application Firewalls, with payments experience desirable
