IDEXX is seeking anApplication Developer Sr Ito design, build and manage data pipelines and integrations, machine learningclassificationand applications in support of high impactclinicalinsights initiatives. You will join a team of talented software and data engineers, collaborating withdatascientists, driving innovation in veterinary care. In this Role:
You will be a senior member of a highly effective team delivering industry leading capabilities,participatingin business planning and technical strategy
Innovate intechnology, teamprocessand development practices.
Our team practices Scrum development, so experience and desire to work in Agile teams isa must!
You will work with a close-knit team ofArchitects,Developers, Data QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Mastersin a variety of remote locations- excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills are important for team success.
You will have the support to learn newskills,access to a network of professionals,and exchange knowledge with peers through mentorship and coaching opportunities.
What you need to succeed:
Proficiencywith one or more major cloud providers (AWSpreferred)
Proficiencywith AWS Services (API Gateway,AWS Lambda, SQS, S3)
ProficiencywithGithuband experience withGithubActions
ProficiencywithProgramming Languages (Java 17 & Python 3)
Proficiencywith relational databases (AWS MySQL Aurora)
Experiencewith Databricks
Experience with building continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams
Familiaritywith Snowflake
Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) a plus
Ability to rapidly learn and adapt
Ability tomentor/coachmore junior Development and QA Team members
What you can expect from us:
Salary of $110,000 to $120,000
