W H A T W E N E E D 🙏🏻
We are looking for a talented Application Developer to join our Cloud Native team.
Working in the Cloud Native Team you will have a varied role, where you streamline Xenit's services, development and infrastructure, as well as participate (and lead) both internal & external projects/consulting assignments.

Examples of potential tasks:

• Design, build and maintain Xenit’s in-house services
• Guide customers’ development teams in best practices for containerizing and deploying applications
• Design and develop microservices and API’s deployed in Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment of containerized workloads using e.g. Azure DevOps or Github Actions
• Use observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, to collect and analyze metrics, logs and traces for enabling data-driven tuning, debugging and performance optimization
• Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform or Bicep
• Develop and operate services backed by modern databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).

C O U L D Y O U B E A M A T C H ?
We believe our next Application has:

• At least 3 years of hands on experience designing, implementing and maintaining containerized services (e.g. Microservices) using modern technologies, such as: Go, Node.js, Containers, Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
  
• Brings experience across the Microsoft Azure eco-system, including real world use of Azure Kubernetes Service, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall and Monitoring/Observability tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Is proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
• Has familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools to manage cloud infrastructure in a repeatable and auditable way.
• Is passionate about open source technologies, automation and cloud native architecture
• Thinks "developer first", and builds solutions that are robust, secure, observable and easy to operate.
• Fluency in Swedish and English

It is a bonus if you have:
- Hands on experience with container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes
- Product road-mapping, a business mindset and/or skills in cost analysis
- Relevant certifications
- Contributed to the open source community through code, documentation or issue participation

We also believe that you are a person who:

- Acts on their own initiative, looks inward and takes responsibility for their work
- Has an interest in customer facing work, as well as product work. Skilled in providing consulting services and coming up with creative solutions.
- Collaborates effectively with others and builds good relationships
- Can see the "bigger picture" - has business acumen and can consider all factors when providing solutions.
- Speaks both Swedish and English (this is preferable)
- Above all else, displays kindness and compassion in everything they do 💕
