The Application Developer 1 position is part of the Enterprise Applications – Development & Integrations team, which focuses on implementing innovative technology solutions. Our team focuses on application development, geographic information systems, and enterprise reporting to streamline county business, thereby ensuring operational stability and business continuity. In this position, you will work on complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions. The ideal candidate for this role is a high energy and skilled professional that is quick to learn new tools and technical concepts. This position requires solid application development using Agile methodologies and understand the complete software development lifecycle. The right person for this role thrives in a team setting but can also work solo when needed. We’re looking for a talented and experienced application developer to spearhead our application development process and support the maintenance of our existing apps. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, AND Two (2) years of technical-focused support experience with backend application and front-end web development.
