Job Description

We’re looking for an Application Architect to join us at Telia.

I’m Torbjörn Moren, Head of AI Order Management & Activation, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on delivering value to Telia’s business for B2C and B2B

What you’ll do:

• Design develop and maintain modern application architectures (cloud-native, microservices, event-driven)

• Lead architectural decisions across platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security

• Drive the adoption of AI/ML capabilities into applications and workflows

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to align technology with business goals

• Establish best practices, standards, and governance for architecture and AI integration

• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation

What will help you thrive in this role:

• Strong experience in application architecture and system design

• Experience in integrating AI/ML solutions into applications (e.g., APIs, data pipelines, intelligent automation)

• Knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps, containerization)

• Strong interest in secure, complex systems and proven experience in JAVA, Microservices, APIs, AI and databases.

• Bold mindset that challenges the status quo and actively proposes improvements to systems and processes.

• DevSecOps approach combined with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate flexibly within a team.
