We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Application Airbags Senior Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, validation, launch, and serial production support of airbags and steering wheel products. You will deliver engineering solutions that meet customer expectations for quality, cost, timing, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Leading product development activities from concept definition through production launch and serial life.
• Coordinating engineering deliverables to support quotation, development, validation, and manufacturing phases.
• Driving product validation plans, DFMEA activities, design reviews, prototype builds, and engineering changes.
• Collaborating with customers and internal teams including Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and Global Engineering.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and project milestones.
• Building strong relationships through technical expertise and One Autoliv behaviors.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience in Product Engineering, product development, and product launch activities.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional global teams.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, design validation processes, prototype development, and engineering change management.
