Services and repairs a variety of appliances and small equipment to ensure safe, effective operation within its installed location. May provide technical or functional guidance to less experienced personnel. Performs needed troubleshooting, adjustments, functional tests, inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs. Safely loads and unloads equipment onto vehicles for transport to repair shop as needed. Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts requisitions, and inspection reports. Maintains appropriate inventory of spare parts and supplies as directed by management. Ensures compliance with all work area safety requirements at all times. Communicates effectively with customers and team members. Effectively performs additional duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and four (4) years to seven (7) years related experience.
Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Completion of structured training program in appliance repair is preferred. Typical programs are provided by equipment manufacturers and some technical schools.
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
