We have been in business since 1984 and are nationally recognized. We service multiple brands under manufacture warranty and service contracts for Polk County, FL, Avon Park, Sebring, Fort Meade, and Wauchula.
You must be willing to live in Polk County or parts of Hillsborough County Florida. (our service area).This is a Monday-Friday position 8-5 pm with occasional overtime. We do require a background check along with drug screening yearly. You must be able to lift 50 pounds or less. We pay by the hour, not by Commission. Pay ranges by experience hourly starting pay $18.00 an hour. Experienced techs with more than 6 years of appliance repair or more can start off at $20.00 an hour on up Company service van will be provided only once you are fully trained Your training will be with experienced techs with a ride along. You will need to have transportation from our main office Monday-Friday till we release you on your own to service. You will have a 90 evaluation for pay increase depending on performance. Health Insurance will be provided after 90 days of employment. We offer retirement plans and vacations after 1 year of employment and other benefits. Steady work, and no layoffs since we have been in business. No pressure to sale items. We are strictly a service business with part sales. We do not sell new appliances. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
