Looking for an Appliance Parts Specialist for our Pharr Showroom.
As a Appliance Parts Specialist you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, ordering, and inventory of parts for household & commercial appliances, ensuring that the correct components are available for repairs, service, and replacements. This role serves as a key link between customers, technicians, and suppliers, helping to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Parts Identification & Verification: Use technical manuals, diagrams, and electronic catalogs to identify and confirm the correct appliance parts for customer or technician requests.
· Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate records to ensure parts availability.
· Order Processing: Generate invoices, provide price estimates, and coordinate payments for parts orders.
· Procurement: Source parts from suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and track shipments for timely delivery.
· Receiving & Storage: Inspect incoming parts for quality and accuracy, label, and store them in the correct warehouse locations.
· Returns & Warranties: Process defective part returns, handle warranty claims, and coordinate with manufacturers for replacements.
· Customer Service: Assist customers in identifying needed parts, answer questions, and provide product information.
· Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve order discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong knowledge of appliance parts, components, and technical terminology.
· Excellent organizational and computer skills for inventory and order systems.
· Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to multitask.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to lift and handle parts, and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous parts experience in appliance, automotive, or machinery sectors is a plus.
Typical Work Environment
· May work in a parts warehouse, service center, or retail appliance store.
· Hours can be Monday–Friday, with possible overtime or weekend work depending on demand.
· Requires adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
