Job Description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish. The people here at Apple don’t just craft products—they build the kind of wonder that has revolutionised entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.

In AppleCare BPR (Business Process Re-engineering), we view inclusion and diversity as critical for innovation. Our Project Managers lead the most challenging cross-functional initiatives in AppleCare, the ones that involve multiple systems and drive complex changes across the AppleCare organisation and beyond. We turn ambiguity into order, and we know how to execute big projects successfully.

As a BPR Project Manager you will plan, mobilise, and execute mid to large scale projects, ensuring system changes are thoroughly tested and organisations are ready for process changes. You will be the prime mover of your projects including scoping, technological solutions and architectural decisions, resource-planning, communications, project governance, risk management, change management and readiness. You’ll connect the dots, build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make your projects successful. We are looking for someone to bring experience managing large global technical projects that interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems.

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Business or a minimum of 5 years of related experience

Six Sigma / Project Mgt certification a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Proven results in planning, managing, and successfully delivering large cross-functional systems projects

Experience with global projects incorporating regional and country-specific details

A background and knowledge of AppleCare+ products, including claims, service and repair operations.

Be a self-motivated individual with exceptional time management skills and ability to work with minimal direction

Proficiency in establishing project structure for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinating cross-project initiatives.

Excellent forward thinking capabilities. Must be able to see beyond the current state, identify risks/opportunities and drive project teams toward the desired program outcome.
