Tuknik Government Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Apple MAC Support Specialist to support TGS and our government customer in Phoenix, AZ.

The Apple MAC Support Specialist will provide on-site client hardware and software desk-side support and remote client support for teleworkers, ensuring minimum user downtime. Provide high-quality customer care with every interaction by successfully applying effective customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, accurate call-handling procedures, incident management, communication skills, and standard operating procedures. This support will be in Phoenix, AZ, but will also support the bureau Nationwide.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Apple MAC Support:
• Requires technical knowledge of Mac OS Snow Leopard through current OS (Tahoe) including future OS releases including but not limited to:
• System Admin controls
• STIG compliance, configuration and documentation
• Network Settings
• Interfacing with Post Production workflow servers such as Linux based Lumaforge System.
• Configuring as needed with BLM network. Ability to bind Macs to BLM Active Directory configuration and connectivity
• Intune integration for enterprise MAC management
• Technician shall learn new Mac OS systems as released and consult with BLM Media Staff on best plan for upgrading to latest OS when needed, following all DOI regulations and restrictions.
• Consult and support BLM Media Staff on configuration of Mac Non-Linear Editor systems
• The ability to interface Mac OS computers with Hardware/Software for fully functional Non-Linear Media Editing System including but not limited to:
• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere, Media Encoder, After-effects, Photoshop, etc.)
• AJA Video/Audio I/O Cards
• Waveform/Vector Scopes
• Serial Digital Routers
• Large HD/HDR/4k Video Display Monitors
• High Fidelity Audio Monitors/Speakers
• Comply with DOI Mac OSX Security Policy (STIG)
Windows and other Desktop Support Functions:
• Proficient in desktop Tier 2 troubleshooting, installing software and hardware from network images, vendor sites, and DFS paths
• Ability to support Windows operating systems (WIN 11)
• Experience supporting iOS and Android-based mobile devices
• Experience troubleshooting network and printer issues
• Client technologies include Microsoft Windows and iOS operating systems.
• Initiate, maintain and closeout scheduled video teleconferencing sessions.
• Perform lifecycle planning and technology refresh installation services for desktop and laptop computers across the enterprise. (Refresh installation services will be scheduled during task order performance by the Contracting Officer’s Representative to specify the location(s), quantity, and timeline requirements of the refresh requirements.) Implement a standard methodology and provide and maintain installation standards and procedures (STIGS, images, etc.) that ensure properly configured systems; continuity of user operations; fully-functional applications; and train users to successfully operate new systems and equipment.
• Proactively maintain comprehensive images to ensure that all images contain current and up-to-date software applications, all applicable patches and the latest drivers. Ensure that images comply with prevailing Federal and customer policies and requirements.
Education:
• Associates Degree in a computer related field, Bachelor's degree desired.
Experience:
• At least 3 years of desktop and computer peripheral support/troubleshooting experience.
