About the job


As an
Appian Developer

at Aspire, you will design, develop, and implement BPM-based solutions using the Appian Low-Code Platform. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality applications that support digital transformation and optimize business processes.


What you’ll do


  • Design, develop, and deploy Appian applications, including process models, rules, reports, and user interfaces.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional Appian solutions.

  • Implement Appian components such as plug-ins, Smart Services, and Records to enhance performance and usability.

  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

  • Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing ongoing technical support.

  • Document application designs, configurations, and processes.

  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

  • Ensure adherence to Appian development best practices, version control standards, and security policies.


What you’ll need


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with the Appian Low-Code Platform.

  • Strong understanding of BPM concepts and process modeling.

  • Experience developing Appian components such as process models, SAIL interfaces, rules, and records.

  • Experience integrating Appian with external systems using REST and SOAP services.

  • Familiarity with Appian plug-ins and Smart Services.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Awareness of security and compliance best practices.

  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
