You can join this nationwide network through San Antonio Kidney which is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join their team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, though those with dialysis or nephrology experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Preferred experience as a Hospitalist, Cardiology or Nephrology and training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology.
Hiring Package:
• $100,000-$115,000 base depending on experience and a bonus of 10% net collections
• 12 Days of PTO 1st Year, and 5 Sick Days
• 8 Paid Holidays
Schedule/Practice Details:
• Flexible schedule to include combination of
◦ Dialysis center rounding
◦ Daytime hospital coverage
◦ Outpatient clinic coverage
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
