
In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass: * Expert clinical practice * Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers * Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems).
Serves on call and weekend as required. Schedule will be a combination of nights/days.
EDUCATION:
* Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Hold a valid, current New Jersey Physician Assistant licensure.
OR
Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/Masters in Nursing.
Current Certification for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Registered Nurse First Assist (RFNA) certification if assisting in OR. Hold a valid, current New Jersey license.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field. Willing to train highly motivated individual
SPECIAL SKILLS:
* Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered. * Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. * Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. * NRP certification, BCLS, PALS * Serves on call and weekend as required.
