This is a professional position for a certified Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with focus on primary care and family care. The incumbent will work interdependently, independently, and dependently as a member of a health care team in the performance of a medical regimen in health care. Duties will be carried out in accordance with 1) established standards and ethics of the medical profession; 2) personal clinical qualifications; and 3) administrative policies and operational procedures in collaboration with collaborative/sponsoring physician as described in a Collaborative Practice Agreement.Act as a physician extender. Being available and willing to help while in the training room for all our student athletes, and fill care gaps when a sports medicine physician is unavailable. Maintaining a refined, appropriate scope of practice helps KTH align with the consistent vision of providing our student athletes with the ‘highest level of care’.
