The App Coordinator & Copywriter owns written communication and digital messaging, with primary responsibility for The Grove App as a central engagement platform.
Reports to:          Communication Director
Works with:        Communication Team and Ministry Leaders
Works:                 Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, hourly
WRITTEN COMMUNICATION & MESSAGING — 60%
Write and edit church-wide messaging for The Grove App.
Serve as lead editor for ministry communication content.
Draft and refine messaging for seasonal campaigns and high-level initiatives, such as the Love Offering.
Maintain tone, clarity, and theological alignment across all written content.
Segment audiences strategically within digital communication platforms.
DIGITAL PLATFORM MANAGEMENT — 30%
Execute and manage communication strategy within The Grove App.
Schedule and publish content in alignment with the church calendar.
Monitor engagement metrics and recommend adjustments.
Partner on routine website content updates.
Other — 10%
Attend trainings and conferences as needed.
Attend Communication Team meetings, staff devotions, all-staff meetings and required trainings.
