At Sener, we are delivering one of the region's most complex and innovative Rail & Metro programs. We are looking for an APM Site Supervision signaling Engineer to join our systems engineering team on site, supervising installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
The role requires an APM/Metro signaling background with mandatory ATS or SCADA experience, ideally with Thales/Hitachi exposure, and will involve coordinating signaling interfaces with the wider railway system on site.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect on-site signaling & Telecoms installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Validate on-site signaling & Telecoms activities against the approved design.
- Ensure performance compliance with contract specifications and the approved design.
- Monitor inspection requests and maintain inspection logs.
- Follow up on NCRs and snagging/punch lists through to closure.
- Prepare proper documentation and reporting of all activities throughout the project lifetime.
- Provide support to other disciplines as part of the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) team.
- Coordinate signaling & Telecoms interfaces with PSD, Rolling Stock, and other railway systems on site.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of on-site experience in signaling & Telecoms systems
- Mandatory experience with ATS or SCADA
- Mandatory APM (Automated People Mover) project experience
- Mandatory Metro / Rail Systems experience
- Previous participation in trial runs, top-level demo tests, and the handover stage is highly considered
- Hands-on knowledge of other rail subsystems such as PSD and Rolling Stock
- Experience with Thales or Hitachi signaling solutions is highly desirable
- Good English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- GCC experience is highly desired
- Experience working with international signaling system integrators.
- Participation in trial run, demo test, and handover stages.
- Experience on large-scale APM/Metro projects.
- Dubai Metro / GCC Metro experience.
