Clinical Pathologist Position in Las Vegas, Nevada

Laboratory Medicine Consultants Ltd. (an affiliate of Sonic Healthcare USA) is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Clinical Pathologist to join our dynamic, multi-specialty practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Role

The successful candidate will serve as the Medical Director for a clinical core laboratory servicing a six-hospital healthcare system. Responsibilities include the oversight of clinical laboratory testing at the core lab and at the "stat" laboratories located at each hospital site. This role places a major emphasis on Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified in Clinical Pathology (CP or AP/CP).
  • Expertise: A fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and/or Microbiology is preferred; however, we highly encourage applications from candidates with strong clinical experience and demonstrated competency in these subdisciplines.
  • Skills: The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a hospital or core laboratory setting. We are seeking professionals authorized to work in the U.S. who possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clinicians, administrators, and laboratory staff.

About LMC
LMC is a multi-specialty, multi-state group of 23 pathologists providing AP/CP Pathology and Transfusion Medicine services to numerous hospitals, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities throughout Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona. This position plays a vital role in our services in the vibrant Las Vegas area.
