POSITION SUMMARY:
The Apartment Manager supports the CHS mission by providing effective tenant relations, property maintenance, and assisting with program eligibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the primary point of contact, assists tenants by responding to tenant inquiries and concerns.
Assists the Operations Coordinator by managing the recertification process and lease management.
Ensures property is well-maintained by regular property inspections, maintaining common areas, and coordinating make-ready procedures.
Fosters a positive, safe environment for residents by ensuring the property complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel by personal vehicle as needed.
Prolonged periods of working at a computer.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1+ year of experience as an apartment manager
1+ year of experience as a property manager
SHIFT: PTI (15 hrs./week) Monday-Friday TBD
Free Rent/Utilities in lieu of wages
$15.00/hr. If more than 15 hrs. worked a week
