Job Description

Apartment Service Tech II |  Allegro at Jack London Square - Oakland, CA 
  • Allegro at Jack London Square a mid-rise style community consisting of 310 apartment homes.
  • Set schedule is Sunday - Thursday; 9AM-6PM, on-call schedule once every 4 weeks.
 Must have intermediate competency with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Prior multi-family apartment maintenance industry experience is a plus. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response.   For the fifth year in a row, Windsor Communities is the recipient of the  2025 Kingsley Excellence Award achieving the top award for Overall Customer Service Compensation: Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.Hourly  Starting at $25.53 - $31.91 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.  Annual Starting Comp: $53,102 - $66,372. Benefits

Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.
