The role partners closely with regional and country leadership, operations, regulatory affairs, supply chain, commercial teams, and global quality functions to support business growth through robust, compliant, and efficient quality processes.

  • Continuously monitor regulatory changes and lead impact assessments and updates to quality systems and procedures.

Operational Quality Oversight

  • Support operational sites in maintaining quality control processes including product integrity, traceability, and handling procedures.

  • Establish quality performance metrics and monitor regional KPIs.

  • Provide guidance to local quality teams on corrective and preventive actions.

Audit & Risk Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and perform internal quality audits across regional sites to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

  • Lead preparation for external audits by customers, principals, and certification bodies.

  • Conduct root cause analyses for quality incidents or non‑conformities, ensuring timely and effective corrective action.

  • Identify operational and supply chain risks and implement preventive and mitigation strategies.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive regional quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Promote best practice sharing across APAC countries.

  • Support digitalization and standardization of quality processes where applicable.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with regional operations, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives.

  • Act as the primary regional quality contact for customer quality inquiries and escalations.

  • Collaborate with global quality teams to align APAC practices with global standards.

Training & Capability Development

  • Develop and implement regional quality training programs.

  • Build capability of local quality teams and operational staff on quality standards and compliance requirements.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive Quality Management experience in chemical distribution, nutrition, manufacturing, or related process industries.

  • Strong background managing multi‑site or multi‑country QMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001) with proven audit and CAPA leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance for chemical handling, storage, repacking, and transportation across APAC.

  • Track record in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting or operating within a Quality CoE.

Success Factors:

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with operations, supply chain, regulatory, EHS, and commercial teams across diverse markets.

  • High analytical capability for data-driven problem solving and managing complex investigations or escalations.

  • Ability to operate with agility across varied market maturity levels, balancing immediate issue resolution with long-term improvements.
