What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a deeply results-oriented, experienced, and self-driven APAC Program Specialist to support APAC logistics projects. You will work cross-functionally with APAC warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, sales, service, Supercharger, material planning, purchasing, finance, systems, regional APAC teams, and suppliers to drive successful onboarding, process and system setup, and expansion of Tesla’s energy distribution network across the Asia-Pacific region.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute APAC logistics project strategy and plans to support complex and high-throughput energy products supply chain expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally with all supply chain stakeholders to drive project progress based on established strategic objectives and the logistics/onboarding roadmap.
  • Cooperate with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and technical difficulties with a solution-oriented attitude and creativity.
  • Design and optimize warehouse and transportation solutions to balance project timeline, cost, and operational efficiency.
  • Understand information flows across order processing systems, TMS, WMS, etc.; collaborate with systems and IT teams to understand logistics system architecture and develop optimal solutions that ensure efficient and accurate information flow.
  • Understand physical material flows, including warehousing and transportation operations; accurately identify critical project tasks that significantly impact daily operations and drive them to on-time and high-quality completion.
  • Organize project kick-offs, discussions, and regular progress syncs with the project team and management.
  • Statistically analyze system and operational data to drive project decisions and solution development.
  • Support project team members in solving problems and completing project tasks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or the equivalent of experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering or supply chain preferred.
  • 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, program/project management, and/or evidence of exceptional ability (APAC regional experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to code in SQL and Tableau and deep-dive into data.
  • Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels; cross-cultural communication skills valued.
