Job Description

As an Immigration operations analyst, you will support the delivery of immigration and right to work (RTW) processes across APAC and other in-scope regions for Global Mobility. You will assist in coordinating visa and work authorization activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to established procedures and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to support case progression, track renewals, and provide timely updates. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow structured processes, and a focus on delivering a consistent employee and stakeholder experience.

You will be based out of Bengaluru and report to the India Immigration hub lead.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Case Coordination & Delivery: Support end-to-end immigration and RTW processes by coordinating documentation, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely completion of assigned activities in line with defined procedures.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers to initiate applications, obtain updates, share required documentation, and support the timely progression of immigration and RTW cases.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all case documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, escalating any issues or gaps as appropriate.
  • Data Management & Record Keeping: Maintain and update immigration records and systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Stakeholder Support: Respond to employee and manager queries through defined channels, providing clear and accurate information based on standard processes and guidance.
  • Monitoring & Tracking: Assist in tracking visa status, renewal timelines, and expiring documentation, supporting timely follow-ups to ensure compliance and continuity.
  • Process Adherence, Improvement & Automation: Follow established operating procedures, develop a thorough understanding of the entire process—including upstream and downstream impacts—and proactively identify gaps or inefficiencies. Support the implementation of automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency, escalate opportunities for improvement, and contribute to continuous process optimization.
  • Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of standard reports and metrics related to case status, renewals, and operational performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members across the Global Mobility Delivery hub and participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in HR operations, global mobility, immigration, or shared services environments.
  • HR and Compliance Awareness: Basic understanding of immigration, right to work, or regulatory processes, with the ability to follow structured compliance requirements.
  • Operational Focus: Ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently, following defined processes and service level expectations.
  • Data Management: Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information in line with data protection standards.
  • Systems & Tools: Familiarity with HR systems, case management tools, or data tracking (e.g., Excel).
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond clearly to stakeholders and escalate issues when needed.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven environment.
