Job Description

As the APAC GSC Continuous Improvement Leader you will utilise your experience and expertise to own the business processes and drive the Digital Transformation in the material requirement planning, available to promise, production planning, and detailed scheduling processes and other potential SC areas.. APAC GSC Continuous Improvement Leader will work with cross functional teams, to design and execute the global supply chain’s digital roadmap across planning layers in the region. As part of the Continuous Improvement - Global Supply Chain function the APAC GSC Continuous Improvement Leader ensures standardisation, and evolution of the planning processes, supporting systems and related data requirements in harmonization with the global standards in order to deliver value and improved customer experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute the global supply chain’s digital roadmap in the region - in the areas of material requirement planning, available to promise, production planning, and detailed scheduling processes, and other potential SC areas. Ensuring integration with critical business processes and align SCM tools and processes.
• Business Process Champion of the PPDS, MRP, ATP Area for the SC sites, responsible for related process mapping, documentation (SOPs, work instructions), driving process harmonization and standardization, and continuous optimization.
• Local Champion and owner of the End-to-End Planning digital transformation including: material requirement planning, available to promise, production planning, and detailed scheduling and other potential SC areas related processes and master and transactional data requirements. Co-lead the implementation of the advanced planning system with the local owners, driver of documentation & training work and the roll-outs in the region.
• Lead change management agent at all levels of the organization, leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and on time implementation for the digital transformation projects.
• Manage and maintain regular communication with all stakeholders; including internal teams and leadership, ensuring timely updates and transparency on project status, deliverables, and organizational initiatives
• Engage and align local and related central teams, collaborate with other business functions and processes to ensure continuous alignment & cooperation.
• Lead the execution of data standards initiatives and oversee data quality improvement projects to ensure accuracy and consistency across supply chain master data, Drive data cleansing efforts and implement corrective actions to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency, including settinp-up the proper data governance rules.
• Implement metrics and related process rigour to measure efficiency of the implemented processes and systems. Focus on digitization and eliminate manual/person-dependent processes within the production planning area. Manage the performance of the processes owned.
• Ensure flawless customer fulfilment, supply chain efficiency and best cash position through continuously monitoring and managing process and tools and alignment of all processes. Ensure fulfillment metrics are in place and monitored.

Specific responsibilities include:

• You are the driving force the SC Planning transformation in APAC and the liaison of Global SC Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications preferred to do this role:

• University undergraduate degree in operations, supply chain, engineering, business administration or related fields, master degree preferred,
• Fluent in English is a must,
• Fluent Chinese is a must.

Experience preferred to do this role:

• 10+ years of professional experience working for a global manufacturing or chemical company,
• Planning experience is a must, experience must be in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and detailed scheduling,
• Prior experience in lead roles in project implementation, project and program management, supply chain transformation projects with measurable results.
• Lean Six Sigma - continuous improvement practice and approach,
• Strong understanding of PP-DS , MRP and ATP. Preferred knowledge of integration with Logistics, procurement, inventory management, sales & plant maintenance and manufacturing execution systems (MES), Master Data governance
• Experience working in a global matrixed environment is considered a plus,
• Experience with S&OP/IBP processes is a plus
