Job Description Summary

The APAC FSA Finance Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the financial health and operational performance of Onshore Wind Services across the Asia Pacific region. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from commercial ITO (Inquiry to Order) handoff through to site execution. This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and influence regional and global stakeholders to optimize fleet performance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with the APAC Services Executive to implement capital deployment frameworks and robust operating mechanisms that ensure cost-optimal solutions across the fleet.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maximize fleet availability through proactive maintenance planning, rigorous quality oversight, and continuous process improvement.
  • Lead the timely completion of Monthly Availability Logs (MALs), with a focus on mitigating Liquidated Damages (LD) exposure and tracking portfolio performance against CMR (Contract Margin Review) targets.
  • Oversee and control O&M (Operation & Maintenance) site spend and FPC (Fixed Production Cost) costs. Lead aggressive cost-out initiatives across all projects and drive the implementation of best practices across the regional portfolio.
  • Provide financial reporting, operational pacing, and weekly rhythm updates. Leverage data-driven insights to identify and eliminate systemic drivers of operational loss.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to standardize processes and identify strategies to leverage synergies across international boundaries.
  • Partner with Hub Managers to optimize field service staffing, including engineers and specialists. Act as a key advisor to Service Directors, CPMs, and regional/global CFOs.
  • Drive cash collection efforts to achieve regional cash KPIs and significantly reduce past-due accounts.
  • Lead and oversee the financial closing processes, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial books in compliance with corporate standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the APAC Services Finance team, fostering a culture of financial rigor, deep-dive analysis, and high-performance execution.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance, Operations, or Project Execution roles; including at least 5 years of dedicated Wind Services Finance experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree in business administration or finance; or CPA preferred.
  • GE FMP (Financial Management Program) or CAS (Corporate Audit Staff) or graduate.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to distill complex data into actionable operational strategies.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving clear thinking, and delivering results in complex, high-stakes environments.
