The Continental Tires APAC Functional Proficiency Program (AFPP) offers you a unique and exciting career journey at Continental. As a trainee, you will be part of a multi-cultural business team and gain a holistic picture of the business world via this well-structured 12 months, you will experience working with different cultures, on and off job learning, lead international projects and receive guidance of experienced experts, and mentors.
The rotations will provide you with exciting experiences and great learning opportunities:
· Fast track your career in Financial Controlling.
· Build your international career and network.
· Work on international projects with other AFPP trainees across different functions.
· Strengthen your business acumen by understanding relevant client segments, challenges (present & future), tire industry (Replacement) and products
· Deep-dive into financial planning and analysis for different markets and countries throughout your AFPP journey.
· Evaluate and propose business scenarios to management.
· Gain knowledge on major processes of business in the Controlling function
· Sharpen your skills and gain practical experience by applying what has been learnt.
Additionally, there will be learning events and team activities which will provide you the platforms to learn how to navigate through Conti processes and create your own networking across APAC organizations.
What you can expect after successful completing the program:
· Land in a Controller OR Finance role within the APAC organization
· Act as business partner to management by creating a transparent picture of the financial situation, evaluating and proposing business scenarios and implementing guidelines.
· Manage all Controlling/Financial aspects including implementation of
appropriate financial controls and processes to support the business objectives
·Deep involvement into monthly Forecast process and annual preparation of Budget and Strategy
· Analysis on profitability and Period expenses
· Communication of financial aspects of current business, existing financial risk & opportunities .
· University degree (Bachelor or Master) with majors in finance, business, international management, or relative fields.
· Around 1-3 years of relevant working experience in finance, controlling is preferred.
· International mindset and appreciates multicultural working environments.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, open minded, ability to learn new skills quickly, and possess high levels of self-motivation.
· Fluent in English
