Digital Territory Sales Manager - APAC

Location: Remote - Japan Work Type: Remote

About the Role

The Digital Territory Sales Manager - APAC drives revenue growth and customer success within an assigned territory by owning direct customer relationships and strategically engaging with key partners. This role combines full-cycle direct sales accountability with joint go-to-market execution to expand market coverage, accelerate deal cycles, and increase market share.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Own and manage a defined territory of existing and prospective customers to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from qualification and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop a territory business plan that identifies key accounts, growth opportunities, and partner collaboration strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Drive joint business planning and pipeline development with channel, reseller, and system integrator partners, executing co-selling motions on target accounts and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate pipeline forecasting and territory reporting to leadership while mentoring and coaching team members.

Role Essentials

  • Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager at a SaaS company with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong ability to lead full-cycle sales processes including qualification, discovery, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels with professionalism and tact.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
  • What We'd Like to See

  • Experience working with channel, reseller, or system integrator partners in a co-selling or joint go-to-market model.
  • Familiarity with sales intelligence tools and pipeline management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members within a sales environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
