RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all strategic sourcing activities for the manufacturing facility in APAC
• To assure the supply security of long-term raw material requirements
• Formulate category strategies and negotiation strategy and pricing strategy to negotiate for long term supply contracts and necessary amendments.
• • Manage the supply contracts via pipeline, vessel, truck for the production requirements and ensure pricing, quality and delivery conditions meeting the agreed contractual conditions.
• • Manage supplier and external relationship – existing and other suppliers/producers, traders, market consultants in the market.
• • Work closely with Operation Buyer in Procurement Operations to ensure smooth process of the entire chain.
• • Manage of resales of excess supplies and assist product sales.
• • Manage internal stakeholder relationship and respective requirements. Internal stakeholders are Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Controlling.
• Manage and analyse market intelligent for Asia. Work and share market information with colleagues in China

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with 10 years of related experience in chemical industry
• Strong team player with effective communication skills across a global multi-functional and diverse cultural organization.
• Enthusiastic about the products and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Must be willing to travel when required.
