As an Analyst within the APAC Branch Operations Strategy and Governance team, you will spend most of your time as a hands-on business analyst and solution designer, automating and optimizing operational processes using Python, Alteryx, and Tableau. You’ll also support governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to drive strategic initiatives and inform senior management decisions. You’ll collaborate with operations, technology, and regional teams to deliver impactful solutions and continuous improvement across APAC branches.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead process walkthroughs and map current and future-state workflows for complex branch operations
  • Identify manual pain points and design automation solutions using Python, Alteryx, and other intelligent automation tools
  • Develop and refine business rules, templates, and exception handling logic for operational processes
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for management reporting and strategic reviews
  • Support development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions, monitoring effectiveness for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with operations, technology, and regional teams to gather requirements and drive process improvements
  • Deliver cross-functional projects end-to-end, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables; managing risks and dependencies; and driving stakeholder alignment to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
  • Document process changes, standard operating procedures, and best practices for scalability
  • Prepare and present executive-level decks and dashboards summarizing branch performance and strategic solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in process optimization, analytics, business analysis, or solution design within financial services industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, Alteryx, and Tableau for process automation, data analytics, and visualization
  • Experience with workflow automation, data extraction, and exception handling
  • Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience designing and automating workflows for financial operations (e.g., FX settlement, reconciliation)
  • Experience building executive dashboards and management reports
  • Exposure to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements in financial services
  • Experience facilitating workshops and training for new tools and technologies
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or change management initiatives
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills
