Job Description

As part of JPMorgan Chase’s Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) team, you will play a key role in protecting the integrity of the firm’s business across the firm globally, with a particular focus on the APAC region. You will help the firm grow responsibly by anticipating new and emerging risks, while supporting the regional Anti-Corruption program through strong governance, practical advice, effective monitoring, and close partnership with global compliance colleagues. This role offers broad exposure across lines of business and the opportunity to apply sound judgement, curiosity, and fresh thinking to real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities.

As an Associate within APAC Anti-Corruption Compliance team, you will support the regional Anti-Corruption program across key areas including governance, policy development, advisory, training, quality assurance, monitoring, risk assessments, and policy enforcement. You will work closely with colleagues across control functions and lines of business, applying sound judgement, challenging the status quo, and helping to drive continuous improvement. This is a regional role based in Singapore, reporting directly to the APAC Head of Anti-Corruption Compliance.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and oversight of the Anti-Corruption Policy and related procedures
  • Identify innovative solutions and drive enhancements to the Anti-Corruption Compliance program, including governance, monitoring, and controls.
  • Manage pre-clearance requests for certain business activities, such as business hospitality and engagement of third-party intermediaries, in line with the Firm’s Anti-Corruption Policy.
  • Provide guidance to lines of business and corporate functions on Anti-Corruption-related matters.
  • Assist with corruption-related risk assessments, including expense monitoring and support for testing activities.
  • Support reviews of potential employee violations of the Anti-Corruption Policy, as appropriate.
  • Deliver Anti-Corruption training and contribute to broader awareness initiatives across APAC.
  • Partner with global and regional Anti-Corruption Compliance colleagues to drive strategic projects.
  • Engage with a wide range of regional and global stakeholders across Anti-Corruption Compliance, Front Office, control functions, and corporate functions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Anti-Corruption Compliance or a related compliance role.
  • Working knowledge of anti-corruption laws in relevant jurisdictions, including the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, including confidence in engaging with senior management.
  • Experience developing training and presentation materials, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated capability and curiosity in using Copilot, AI-enabled tools, and data analytics to enhance efficiency, generate insights, and support decision-making.
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business and functional lines.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, often under tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working with financial institutions, law enforcement agencies, or multinational organizations.
