As an A&P Mechanic III, you will be responsible for repairs, replacement and maintenance of the key components of aircrafts. You'll perform the necessary checks in regards to the mechanical and functional components of the aircraft, including the testing of and replacement of defective or faulty parts. You'll use a variety of tools and equipment to perform diagnosis on parts to be replaced, and ensure repairs and maintenance are compliant with national and international standards of work, all while maintaining safety and cleanliness of the hanger or workshop. You will demonstrate knowledge in one of the three main components of aviation maintenance including airframe maintenance, power plant mechanics, or Airframe & Power plant (A&P) components.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

• Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command pandemic restriction requirements for deployed locations

• Please be advised that this position may require deployment for a period of up to 90 days, depending on mission needs. Deployment is not guaranteed and will be determined at the discretion of the supervisor or management, or as otherwise specified.

• Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required

• Ability to obtain a current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally

• A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment. Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment. Employment will begin once the USG security clearance is granted. If applicant is unable to obtain USG security clearance, the offer of employment will be withdrawn.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.

• Extensive experience with specific aircraft models.

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.

• FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience.

• Able to travel on a regular basis and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends.

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS).

• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
