Position Summary

Certified Aviation Services (CAS) is seeking a Full-Time A&P Mechanic to support our operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO). This position will perform line maintenance on commercial aircraft while also supporting Cyclean® Engine Wash operations using Lufthansa Technik’s patented engine cleaning system.

The A&P Mechanic will be responsible for performing safe and efficient aircraft maintenance, assisting with engine wash operations, completing required maintenance documentation, and supporting the day-to-day needs of the MCO station.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance procedures, OEM manuals, and CAS requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspections, servicing, repairs, and other maintenance tasks within the scope of the mechanic’s qualifications and authorization.
• Conduct Cyclean® Engine Wash services on commercial aircraft engines, including equipment setup, operation, monitoring, shutdown, and post-wash procedures.
• Perform required pre- and post-maintenance inspections to verify aircraft and engine condition.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain Cyclean equipment and associated company equipment/vehicle.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, engine wash documentation, and other required records in accordance with FAA and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot aircraft, engine, and equipment-related issues and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with flight crews, customer representatives, station personnel, and CAS management to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Follow all FAA, airport, customer, CAS safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support additional maintenance or operational requirements at the MCO station as needed.
• Travel between stations or support off-site Cyclean operations when required by business needs.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance or engine systems experience preferred.
• Commercial aircraft line maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of aircraft and turbine engine systems preferred.
• Previous Cyclean® Engine Wash experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge and required airport credentials.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules based on operational requirements.
• Ability to safely lift approximately 40 pounds and perform physically demanding maintenance activities.
• Must be able to work safely around aircraft, engines, ground equipment, fluids, and maintenance equipment.

Schedule

This is a full-time MCO-based position. The schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on aircraft maintenance and Cyclean service requirements.

The employee should be available to support the operational needs of the MCO station and customer aircraft.
