The Division
Jonasacquires, manages, and builds software companies in a variety of vertical markets, enabling them to be clear leaders in their industries. Our companies provide mission-critical enterprise solutions for vertical industries across the entire industry value chain.

The Vesta Software Group, part of Jonas, a division of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), isseekingan energetic, independent anddetail orientedprofessional to fill the Accounts Payable Assistant position. The Accounts Payable Assistant will have the opportunity to champion the full-cycle accounts payable process, be a catalyst for process improvements, and be a part of a growing international conglomerate.

Responsibilities

• PrepareBACS and Electronic paymentruns

• Assist with AP integrations during acquisitions

• Reviews all invoices forappropriate documentationand approval in automated system.

• Process employee expense reports

• Corresponds with vendors andmaintainsupdated vendor profiles

• Assistin month end closing

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately,in accordance withcompany policy and corporate accounting guidelines

• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required

• Support with audit requests for Accounts Payable related samples

• Performs other duties as assigned

Professional Acumen

• The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communicationskillsallowing him or her to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Will ensure strong relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders, maintaining a strong customer service culture and positive attitude within the finance team. Experience with a multilocation environment is a plus.

• Be proactive and eager to contribute and learn, ask lots of questions, and provide solutions. Maintaining a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify, review, and implement process improvements.

Education and Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar corporate accounts payable environment demonstrating a knowledge of account guidance and methodology.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including sophisticated Excel workbooks and PowerPoint.

• Experience with accounting technology including AP automation solutions,ERP's, and expense reimbursement solutions.

• Experience with Great Plains, Concur, banking applications or other similar programs is a plus.

• Familiar with other cash disbursements including 1099 payments, W-9's, certain taxes and site costs.
