Overall Purpose of Job

The Accounts Payable Analyst will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Accounts Payable department. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing and vendor disbursements while maintaining proper internal controls.

You will work closely with our AP Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and local affiliates, providing exceptional service to vendors and internal customers. This is an excellent opportunity to master end-to-end AP processes and contribute to the efficiency of our Shared Service Center.

Job Accountabilities

  • Invoice Management: Receive, scan, and accurately process vendor invoices in compliance with internal policies and local tax regulations.
  • Account Analysis: Perform routine reconciliation and follow-up on vendor statements of account to ensure no outstanding balances or discrepancies.
  • Customer & Vendor Support: Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries from local vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status and receipts.
  • Transactional Execution: Execute daily processing work within the assigned business area, ensuring high service quality and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in daily tasks and systems, collaborating with the team to implement best practices.
  • Documentation: Assist in keeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) updated.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: University student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: Previous experience in administrative or basic accounting roles is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is highly valued.
  • Languages: * Intermediate English (written and spoken) is required.
    • Portuguese language skills are a strong plus (desirable).
  • Skills: * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Good communication and customer service skills.
    • A dedicated team player with a proactive attitude.
    • Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
