Job Description

MHIRJ is the combination of two important legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide comprehensive, mission-critical operations, engineering, and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, and marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are looking for an AOG Specialist to join our team!

Position Details

MHIRJ is seeking a smart, curious AOG Specialist who enjoys the challenge of solving problems that improve people's lives. You will work with a fun, close-knit, agile team to coordinate logistics, service, communication, and contribute to the overall management of AOG events.

Daily Responsibilities of an AOG Specialist

  • Process spare parts orders received by phone, email, and through the online portal, while ensuring follow-up on customer deliveries.
  • Manage critical parts shortages to support the return to service of grounded aircraft and C-Checks.
  • Manage customer expectations during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and ensure timely communication throughout the event.
  • Manage internal and external material supply flows to maintain appropriate service levels for customers while meeting inventory requirements within budget constraints.
  • In a constantly evolving environment focused on increasing customer satisfaction, the AOG Specialist will also manage discrepancies and deviations related to planned inbound material flows by providing solutions and promoting supplier accountability in meeting customer and operator needs.
  • Responsibilities also include creating purchase orders and administering portfolio activities related to invoicing and purchase order pricing issues. In addition, the specialist must be able to clearly analyze a variety of situations and make effective, timely decisions.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Degree or training in Operations Management or Industrial Management, or 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written French and English.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with proficiency in Excel and MS Access.
  • Knowledge of and experience using SAP (SD - Sales & Distribution, MM - Material Management).
  • Ability to work on-site.
