Job Location Human Services - Milwaukee, WI 53204 Salary Range $37,440.00 - $50,000.00 Salary/year

Full-Time | 2nd & 3rd Shifts + Weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Responsible for assisting the Lead Program Assistant in the daily operations of the Women’s/Men’s AODA Residential Center and attending a required staff meeting.

  • Provide daily supervision and support to program residents/clients, monitoring and aware of clients’ whereabouts at all times, ensuring the health and safety of the residents /clients
  • Daily implementations of policies and daily rules
  • Conduct orientations with new clients
  • Arrive 15 minutes early to shift start for medication count. Administer medication in an accurate and timely manner
  • Complete applicable daily and weekly checklist coordination with shift worked (when working at the women’s residential also complete with clientele who have children/infants at the treatment facility daily care logs)
  • Conduct room searches, inspections during a shift to ensure cleanliness, safety in all areas and to identify in all areas and identify any needed repairs
  • Assist residents in developing life skills, being prompt to appointments, being courteous, cleaning skills, cooking skills, child care/nurturing skills, etc.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients and staff
  • Report any and all inoperable equipment/tools to the Manager of Operations
  • Ensure the facility remains alcohol and drug-free, conduct random urine drug screen on all clients twice weekly
  • Assign and supervise resident chores, assisting when necessary to ensure that proper house standards are maintained at all times
  • Monitor meal preparations and food distribution
  • Ensure fire regulations are followed, including conducting regular emergency drills
  • Ensure residents basic needs are met including meals, exercise, hygiene, and sleep, the daily schedule is followed, attendance at medical, dental, counseling, or other social service appointments including transportation as needed
  • Model Healthy interactions and respectful communication with residents, effectively communicates behavior choices to residents, outlining the positive and negative consequences of their choices, ensure confidentiality is maintained, chars are secure and in state-mandated order, follow all HIPAA standards
  • Communications is adjusted to meet the residents’ development level
  • Provide feedback that is clear, specific, timely,

    - and respectful
  • Coordinates and/or provide transportation to residents as needed, in company pr personal vehicle
  • Daily, review of staff communications logs, maintain master weekly clients appointments schedule, prepare maintenance and supplies requested



Qualifications



Qualifications:

Minimum of High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred. Professional experience with supervision preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable. Experience in the field of substance abuse treatment. Valid WI driver’s license and insured vehicle. Ability to drive a 16-passenger agency van.
