Position: Personal Trainer – Anytime Fitness

What You’ll Do:

• Lead fitness consultations and onboarding assessments
• Provide 1:1 personal training and coach small group sessions
• Deliver dynamic group and virtual training experiences
• Contribute to membership sales and upsell packages
• Integrate member service and outreach into your daily coaching hours
• Support member retention efforts through personalized follow-up

Core Responsibilities:

• Facilitate pre-designed workouts for groups of 4+ members
• Create and implement individualized training plans
• Energize and inspire members throughout each session
• Ensure proper exercise technique and participant safety
• Offer modifications for all skill and fitness levels
• Attend regular staff meetings and ongoing educational workshops
• Assist with lead prospecting and inactive member outreach
• Handle member concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Support sales and marketing efforts for fitness programming

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of physiology, biomechanics, and exercise technique
• CPR/AED certification required
• Must obtain a nationally recognized fitness certification within 90 days of hire (ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, etc.)
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
• Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Passion for training clients at all fitness levels
• Previous sales experience is a plus—but not required!
