
The Washington, DC, office of Hogan Lovells’ global antitrust practice is seeking a lateral candidate with at least 3 years of experience, which could include law firm experience, government experience, or clerkship experience. Our practice handles a wide range of domestic and cross-border antitrust and competition matters, including litigation, government investigations, merger clearance, and counseling. We are seeking a candidate that would focus primarily on the antitrust litigation side of our practice. Our caseload includes major consumer class actions (such as In Re Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation and In re Mylan EpiPen Litigation), non-class action antitrust lawsuits, litigation with state and federal enforcers (such as US v. Agristats), and international cartel investigations. Litigation experience (either plaintiff or defense side) is required. Antitrust experience, trial experience, and/or an economics background is preferred.

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
