Job Description

Welo Data is seeking native Greek (Cypriot) speakers to contribute to a global food delivery project. Your role will involve reviewing restaurant menu items written in Greek (Cypriot)and classifying each one using a standardized taxonomy in Americanized English. This work will help enhance food category recognition across diverse markets.

You will interpret menu items in Greek (Cypriot)and select the closest matching English category label from a searchable dropdown. Strong English comprehension is essential for navigating the taxonomy accurately.

What You Will Do:

• Read Review each menu item's name, category, and description written in Greek (Cypriot)
• Confirm Check the item photo (if available) to verify the food type.
• Classify Assign the most accurate Dish Label from an English-language taxonomy dropdown. You can use English keywords, such as "pasta" or "grilled chicken," for quick selection.
• Label Select a Course Label in English (e.g., Appetizer, Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert, Beverage, Other).
• Add Notes Provide a brief note for items that seem unclear, ambiguous, or unusual — no row should be left blank.

Requirements:

• Native Greek (Cypriot)Speaker Based in (Cyprus / Greece)
• Strong English Comprehension Confidently navigate and select from taxonomy options written in Americanized English.
• Local Food Knowledge Familiarity with Greek (Cypriot) restaurant menus and cuisine terminology.
• Tech-Savvy Comfortable using a web browser for structured tasks.
• Detail-Oriented Provide consistent, accurate, and high-quality work.
• Availability Able to complete the assignment within 1–2 business days after receiving access.
