Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with special needs in the classroom and during lunch and recess periods. The paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and staff to help students access the curriculum, develop social skills, and participate safely and successfully in all school activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in the classroom under the direction of the special education teacher and classroom teacher.
• Assist students with academic tasks, accommodations, and modifications as needed.
• Support students during lunch and recess, promoting positive social interactions and ensuring safety.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, and communicate observations to the teacher.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the administration or classroom teacher.

2026 � 2027 Terms of Employment:

Base Salary: $18.13 - $24.57 Per Hour

Employment Period: Ten (10) Months

Union Affiliation: SBAP
