Reporting Relationship: Drop-in Center and Outreach Services Program Manager
Salary/Grade: $17.00- $19.00/ hr; 74 Non-Exempt

The Anti-Human Trafficking Community Engagement Specialist (CES) will work with the Salvation Army’s New Day Drop-in to ensure onsite duties are completed during hours of operation. The CES will be responsible for assisting in the daily functioning of the Drop-in Center, coordinating access to resources for all women entering the center, as well as provide ongoing crisis intervention and leadership during the hours of operation. The CES will also participate in street outreach efforts. This is a grant funded position.
of Position: The role of the Community Engagement Specialist will be to coordinate services and access to resources for all drop-in center participants. The CES is responsible for all daily operations of the drop-in center, including ensuring that services provided are culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. The CES will conduct initial screening and intake of newly identified victims of human trafficking and provide information and referral services to those entering the drop-in center. The CES will also conduct street outreach to individuals experiencing street-based prostitution and trafficking.
