Job Description

Anthropologie Home is seeking a talented and passionate Textile Associate Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, trends and exceptional CAD and photoshop skills. This role will involve designing innovative and stylish textiles across bedding, bath and throws and following through with the product development process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design Concept Development: create original and visually appealing textiles that align with current market trends and our brand identity
  • Research and Development: Stay on top of home and fashion trends and look to develop new and innovative techniques and materials.
  • Sketching: Produce digital sketches to communicate design idea and explore creative concepts.
  • Technical Specifications: Creating detailed technical specifications for the factories to clearly execute sketches that have been presented and approved
  • Prototyping: Working with our product development team to oversee the creation of samples and evaluate the execution of sketches.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile or Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in the Adobe Suite, especially photoshop. Interest in AI programs.
  • Excellent hand sketching skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
