Job Description

The Career Conversion Program (CCP) training period lasts for 15 months. Structured on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided and conducted at the participating companies to facilitate the application of learning and to ensure that individuals acquire necessary competencies to perform at their job.

This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
The Biotechnologist is responsible for the manufacture of therapeutic proteins under cGMP conditions. Expectations for each position are built upon those described in the preceding level. There will be some physical work required to handle equipment and materials. During the course of routine work, the Intern is expected to be working in clean rooms most of the time. This position reports to the Senior/ Section Lead/ Manager of the Manufacturing Large Scale, Small Scale or Centralized Operations Team.

This position is non-permanent and may be utilized to support peak
workloads, projects, temporary backfills, or other operational needs.

What you'll do:

  • Perform assigned operational tasks in accordance with Good
  • Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures
  • (SOPs).
  • Identify and report any deviations, non-conformances, or safety
  • concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support documentation activities such as data entry, reviewing of
  • documents, submission of forms and other documentation
  • management activities
  • Assist in routine housekeeping, cleaning, and 6S activities to
  • maintain a compliant and safe work environment.
  • Participate in training as required for the tasks assigned.
  • Handle materials, components, or equipment as per procedures and
  • safety guidelines.
  • Uphold data integrity principle in accordance to Lonza policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and
  • cross-functional personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of company data and
  • operations.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by supervisor

  • Degree in relevant science discipline (Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering etc.)
