Job Role Summary

The Annuity Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis and insights into base annuity trends and performance through a variety of reporting tools and dashboards. The role provides analytical support to Annuity Management teams, ensuring root causes of performance are clearly understood and that actions are driven in the most critical areas.

The Annuity Analyst also supports multiple geographies across Europe, with a focus on base business (non-MDS) revenue and cost performance.

Main Responsibilities:

Annuity Performance & Program Reporting

  • Provide accurate and timely Annuity Performance reporting to support Annuity
  • Management process.


Annuity P&L Hydraulics

  • Analysis of the Countries MIF, Weighted MIF, Volume, Revenue & GP Hydraulics data and highlighting any areas of concern, understanding trends in the data and using the data to contribute to the formulation of strategies to mitigate potential issues and exploit growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze the effects of Churns, Losses and New Business to the Annuity P&L trend.


Annuity Program Support

  • Identify and analyze contract / SN / product performance to underpin action planning process
  • Support effective compensation and rebate processes
  • Collate insights on MIF movement rationale (losses / churns / new business)
  • Track performance of selected new installs to monitor performance to expected business case
  • Support robust implementation of annual price increases. Monitor and report non-conformance


Governance

  • Provide monthly reporting dashboard / reports to support management process
  • Support inputs for program management reporting as required


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to create good working relationships with other employees
  • Experience working with Excel (PivotTables, charts, formulas), Powerpoint and Qlikview
  • Ability to manipulate data and present as Business Information Data literacy - Ability to visually present and explain data findings in team meetings and with the client.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills – including English to a fluent level
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal Customers in English
  • Ability to work across a variety of departments and functions to achieve objectives
  • Process improvement skills and an understanding of business processes


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College Graduate
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
