Job Description

The Greeter is directed by Shareholder Advocates Tracy Parent/Mercedes Knighten to perform at the Annual Meeting Event on June 6, 2026. The Greeter will meet Annual Meeting attendees at the entrance during registration and assist in the performance of any and all duties necessary to keep the facility in full operation.

The pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour.

Please note: This position is open to Shareholders only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assisting Elders in & out of the building
  • Assisting Elders to their seats after they have registered for the meeting
  • Assist with door prizes, keep track of winners and help deliver items
  • Assist with the microphone and stands during the Q&A session
  • Provide additional support to the runner and set up crew as requested;
    • Assist with moving items from/to storage areas
    • Assist in keeping job site tidy, organized and safe
    • Assist with sorting and placing materials or items as directed
    • Restocking supplies during meeting
    • Picking up and emptying trash
    • Assist servers with food delivery

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of
  • Age requirement 18+
  • Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures
Shareholder Preference

Pursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, preference will be given to qualified Ahtna Native Corporation Shareholders, Descendants, and Spouses in all phases of employment.

Physical Demands

Must be able to perform bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 8 hours; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted.
