REPORTS TO: General Manager
PERKSPT Health insurance, PT mental Health, PT telehealth. Additional FT benefits.
PAY: $1400 - $16.00/hour DOE.
CORE RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to):
Picking up and delivering customers’ pets
Interact with customers in a professional and warm manner
Transporting our animals to various destinations
Taking the fastest and safest route to and from our clients' homes
Helping to load and unload the vehicle
Keeping your vehicle clean and in good working order (no one wants to get into a broken, untidy taxi)
REQUIREMENTS:
Expertise & Experience:
Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family!
Clean driving record is required
Professional animal care experience is a plus
Displays a professional manner at all times
Reliability is a very important trait for this role
Teamwork orientated
Strong time management skills
Physical:
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must frequently lift 40+ pounds.
Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift.
Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently
Must be able to handle dogs on leashes.
Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
