The City of Pearland Animal Services division has an opening for an Animal Control Officer. We make it our mission to protect, shelter, and care for animals, present educational programs to the community, provide support to residents and their pets during times of disaster, and offer and promote pet adoptions.
Our staff of ten professionally trained individuals are dedicated to serving the public and local animals, and we want you to bring your passion and love for all animals to our team!
What do you need to become a team member?
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months experience in animal handling. We prefer Basic ACO and Euthanasia certifications but training can provided for our pear-fect fit.
