Beaches Animal Hospital welcomes a dependable and caring Animal Care Attendant, Receptionist to join our teamfull-time.This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in an important support role for the entire hospital.
Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and the treatment of pet patients
Providing compassionate care duties, including feeding and walking patients
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures
Compassion and a nurturing attitude
Patient handling and restraint
Client care, such as reception, payments and supportive communication
What’s required?
Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team
Compassion and a nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients
Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations
Positive outlook and enthusiasm
Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset
