Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is seeking a full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our collegial and highly respected team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, a 176-bed award-winning hospital located in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia.

Position Highlights

  • Care Team Model
  • Diverse case mix with no trauma, burns, or transplants.
  • Call schedule of 1:14 with a post-call day off.
  • Shift-based compensation model with expected annual compensation of $489,000+ and opportunities for additional earnings.
  • Quality Bonus: $15,000 annually.
  • Generous sign-on/commencement bonus.
  • 10 weeks of paid time off.
  • Annual CME allowance of $7,500.

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Virginia medical license.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
